We have been interested in solar products since a long time ago, particularly due to its environmentally friendly nature. In 2020, we began to utilize solar products in our construction sites, where we were able to make observations on their effectiveness. Solar products were very interesting and provided many advantages such as being cost-effective, eco-friendly, low-maintenance, and convenient. Because of that, we began to consider starting a business regarding solar products. However, we were afraid to start the business at that time due to a lower awareness on solar products in our country.

In 2022, one day before the full moon day of Thadingyut, after we had just bought a large number of solar products for our construction site, we had our final discussion on starting our own business on that day. On the full moon day of Thadingyut, 2022, we decided to start the business as soon as we could. We had made this decision in order to do our part and lend a helping hand to preserve our green environment.

To start our business, we purchased some sample products from China to analyze, then we went to Thailand to observe the quality and availability of solar products there, and we also attended the largest electrical and solar product exhibition in India. After extensive examination and consideration, we have decided to import from Thailand, due to the high quality of products available there, and the swiftness and convenience of importing to Myanmar.

On the 21st of December, 2022, we registered Solar Empire at the DICA. We opened our first Solar Empire showroom in Naypyidaw, our second showroom in Yangon, and the next in Taunggyi and Pyin Oo Lwin. We had most recently opened our latest showroom in Mandalay for now, and are planning to later open more showrooms in other big cities, as many as possible. 

In conclusion, we are trying to leave behind the age of using environmentally harmful fuels for energy and move forward to a better era of green, renewable, and cost-effective solar energy. That is our primary goal that we dream to achieve.
